Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Inspection Support in Boise, ID. You will verify badges, screen visitors, and monitor entry points at a technology location, while delivering professional customer service to employees and guests.

This full-time position requires vigilance, adherence to site procedures, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents and alarms. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a technology location.
• Screen individuals, credentials, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established entry requirements; document and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
