Allied Universal in Portland, OR is seeking a Security Officer Access Control to safeguard clients across aerospace/defense locations. You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and perform regular patrols while delivering excellent customer service and communication.

Role includes recording activity on computer/tablet systems, complying with site policies, and collaborating with a team known for integrity and reliability. Competitive hourly pay and full-time schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with access-control procedures and badge handling is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while performing access-control procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, access authorizations, and visitor documentation before entry; issue/collect visitor badges.
• Monitor entry/exit points, control vehicle and pedestrian access, maintain logs, report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
