Allied Universal, a leading security provider, seeks a Security Officer Access Control / Patrol in San Diego, CA. You will secure facilities, conduct regular patrols, verify credentials at access points, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication.

This full-time role pays $24.88 per hour and requires a DoD Secret clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check plus drug screening.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report findings.
• Prepare accurate reports of patrols and security activities per site requirements.
