Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Visitor Management in Wilkesboro, NC. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a professional presence at a food production location.

The role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and routine patrols to deter unauthorized activity, with a focus on safety and compliance within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements.
• Monitor entry points, access control systems, alarms, and camera feeds; document activity and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site protocols; notify management and emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds.
