Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Wilkesboro, NC. You will provide customer service to employees, verify credentials, control access, and monitor activity to maintain a secure environment.

Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are available. Minimum requirements include two years of security experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18+; 21+ for armed roles and pass background checks.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining records, issuing passes, and following procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas; report unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility, grounds, and perimeter to deter security-related concerns.
