Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining records, issuing passes, and following procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas; report unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility, grounds, and perimeter to deter security-related concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, issuing visitor passes, and following established access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
