Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements.
• Monitor entry points, access control systems, alarms, and camera feeds; document activity and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site protocols; notify management and emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds.

As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Wilkesboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a professional presence. You will conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, access control systems, alarms, and camera feeds; document access-related activity and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying management and emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
