Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Authorization in Fountain Inn, SC. This full-time role pays $16.82 per hour and involves monitoring entry points, managing badges, responding to alarms, and patrolling to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with alarm panels.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and issuing badges.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitor activity and access events.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
