Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time in Fountain Inn, SC. You will serve and safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial locations, manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and respond to alarms.

You will deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a welcoming, controlled environment for employees and visitors. This role requires at least 1 year of security experience, ability to use a computer or tablet, and access control or badge

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of security experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) age requirement.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check may be required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at an industrial distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor badges, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe access points, loading areas, and perimeter activity through patrols and available monitoring systems, reporting unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document daily activities, visitor activity, incidents, and policy violations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
