Job summary

Allied Universal in Greenville, SC is seeking a Security Officer Entry Control to manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and respond to alarm panel notifications at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will maintain a visible presence, deliver exceptional customer service, and follow site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local law.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, screen visitors, issue passes, and maintain access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner per established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain logs and reports for visitor activity, access events, incidents, and shift handoffs.
