Allied Universal in Massapequa, NY is seeking a Security Officer City Service Building Access Control to protect clients across industries. This role emphasizes building access control and courteous customer service within a government site, with regular unarmed patrols and vigilant observation.

You will monitor access, verify credentials, respond to incidents, and document activities to support a safe and welcoming environment. This full-time role offers day shifts and competitive pay.

Formación

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, applicants, employees, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct individuals to service areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document activities.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate logs; communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.
