Job summary

Allied Universal in Ontario, CA seeks a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver to protect client sites and manage access control at a retail distribution location.

You will verify credentials, monitor access, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while providing courteous service. A valid driver’s license is required and age requirements apply; this is a full-time evening shift position.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license as per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit, inspect documents as required by site procedures, report discrepancies.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner in coordination with site contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
