Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Ontario, CA. You will manage access control at a retail distribution site, verify credentials, patrol areas, and provide excellent customer service while complying with company policies.

• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit, inspect documentation as required by site procedures, report discrepancies.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and business perimeter.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support security-related procedures. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit, inspect identification and shipping‑related documentation as required by site procedures, and report discrepancies.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
