Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Ontario, CA. You will manage access control at a retail distribution site, verify credentials, patrol areas, and provide excellent customer service while complying with company policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a minimum age, and completion of background checks and drug screening. The position is full-time with evening shifts and supportive team dynamics.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor/contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit, inspect documentation as required by site procedures, report discrepancies.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and business perimeter.
