Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Nederland, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and support security operations at a chemical/petrochemical location, with a valid driver’s license required.

This full-time role involves early morning shifts and a focus on customer service, safety, and compliance with site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry and exit, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, assigned areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, reports, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
