Job summary

Allied Universal, Sulphur, LA, is seeking a Security Officer Credential Enrollment Driver to safeguard facilities at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access, monitor activity, and respond to security concerns with a calm, professional presence.

You must have a valid driver's license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and relevant security or law enforcement experience. Training and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Driver's license valid in the job state.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years security experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by policy.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor registrations, and contractor access documentation.
• Operate access control systems and maintain accurate entry/exit records; issue and collect credentials and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
