Job summary

KW Property Management is seeking a polite gatehouse attendant to enforce access control and deliver friendly, outgoing customer service. You will screen visitors, contractors, and residents seeking admittance and guide traffic within the community.

The role requires accurate record-keeping of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, reporting incidents to the Management Office, keeping the gatehouse clean, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience as a Gatehouse employee.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Great customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Screen visitors, contractors, vendors, employees, real estate agents, service providers, or anyone seeking admittance to determine if access is authorized.
• Greet residents returning home via the resident lane and assist as needed.
• Record traffic entering the property (vehicular and pedestrian) in the access control system (KWIC).
• Observe, report, and communicate incidents or information to Management Office, Security, or Front Desk.
• Complete paperwork ensuring reports are legible and orderly.
• Keep the gatehouse clean at all times.
• Enforce that only authorized personnel gain access; no parking in front of building or fire lanes except for drop-off/pick-up.
• Maintain professional telephone etiquette and greeting protocol.
• Report building deficiencies (water leaks, fire alarm issues, malfunctioning equipment) via incident/work orders.
