Job description

New York Life Insurance Company is currently hiring managers for its Fast Track Partner Program, a training in which participants start as financial professionals who gain first‑hand experience in the field. Completion of the program requirements can lead to a transition into management as an associate partner.

Responsibilities

• Hire and lead your own group of financial professionals while serving as an associate partner
• Determine financial solutions for clients within a breadth of relevant products and services such as life insurance, fixed and variable annuities, mutual funds, and more
• Gain hands‑on experience as a financial professional helping clients develop a long‑term strategy to achieve their financial goals
• Transition into management as an Associate Partner once you have achieved the program requirements
• Join our intensive, six‑month Associate Partner Training Program to further your business acumen and expertise while working toward a management position

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or another language is a plus
• Some sales experience needed
• Experience in the financial services industry and/or insurance industry is required
• Cultural markets knowledge preferred but not required
• Highly motivated and goal‑oriented professional looking for a challenging yet rewarding occupation

One of the following must be met:

• Most recent position involving 2 or more years of people‑management/business‑owner experience demonstrating transferable leadership capabilities
• Experience in the financial service industry with or without recruiting experience, with 3+ years full‑time sales/agent experience
• MBA degree or equivalent/higher degree
• 3+ years of direct sales experience with elements of sourcing, prospecting, fact‑finding, and solutioning.

Nice to have:

• Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or another language is a plus
• Cultural market knowledge is preferred but not required

Compensation

$80,000 – $125,000 per year at plan commission
