Job summary

University of Montevallo is seeking a Tutoring Coordinator for the Falcon Success Center to coordinate tutoring services and oversee peer tutors. You will recruit, hire, train, and supervise tutors, schedule sessions (online and in-person), and manage payroll and front desk operations.

• Experience in coordinating, training, and supervising peer tutors is preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate tutors effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tutoring services across subject areas to support UM students.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate peer tutors for various subjects.
• Schedule tutoring (one-on-one, group, drop-in) online and in-person.
• Oversee payroll for student staff and staff FSC front desk operations.
• Develop policies for student staff and manage appointment software.
• Collect tutoring data, prepare reports, and conduct outcomes assessments.
• Serve as co-advisor for Alpha Lambda Delta and represent the FSC at events.
