Job summary

Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a Part-Time Academic Test Proctor to administer written, performance, and online tests.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong organization, and computer skills to support test vendors, students, and faculty. Typical duties include reporting, data entry in Excel, and ensuring software readiness for each test; morning, evening, and Saturday shifts.

This is a nonexempt, hourly position with a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a high-volume environment
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills; intermediate experience in Microsoft Office 365
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn applications quickly
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and Saturdays
• Complete certifications within 30 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support by creating professional and courteous correspondences between test vendors, examinees, faculty, staff, and students
• Generates daily reports; research student records; enters research data in Excel; completes daily task reports
• Administers proctoring service for academic tests and provides proctoring for placement tests
• Provides excellent customer service and provides requested information or refers to the appropriate department
• Ensures all computers have appropriate software for each test
• Perform other duties as assigned
