In Global Medical Education, we are trusted partners to health education institutions, providing innovative teaching and learning solutions. The Academic Success team focuses on faculty and student engagement, including their success and satisfaction in adopting Elsevier solutions.

About the Role

As an Academic Success Manager, you will become a trusted advisor to customers while safeguarding the revenue base. You will identify new opportunities within health workforce education institutions. Your role involves helping customers derive value from our content and platforms through engaging training sessions. The territory includes TN, KY, IN, OH, MI, and Ontario. Although primarily remote, travel within the territory is required, and local applicants are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop faculty networks and identify key stakeholders through campus visits, online interactions, and social media engagement.
  • Engage with faculty, curriculum leaders, and deans to understand their challenges and decision-making processes.
  • Demonstrate GME solutions effectively, aligning them with institutional goals to showcase their value.
  • Generate opportunities for institutional e-products and collaborate with the sales team to convert them.
  • Create a targeted territory plan for demand generation and support e-product trials through onboarding and training.
  • Enhance client experiences with effective training, technical support, and engagement initiatives.
  • Facilitate training sessions and provide product support for stakeholders regarding GME digital solutions.
  • Manage onboarding of Education eProduct solutions for faculty, students, and librarians.
  • Track account metrics and adjust success plans accordingly.
  • Monitor usage dashboards, develop action plans, and conduct academic business reviews to ensure healthy usage and renewals.
  • Capture customer feedback and share insights with relevant teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a remote, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong presentation capabilities, including remote presentations and proficiency with online tools.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role within academic, content, or software organizations.
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of medical school and health profession curricula, with awareness of digital transformation trends in education.
  • Understanding of educational institution structures and decision-making processes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed (up to 50%).

Salary Ranges

Varies by state and experience, including base salary and bonus potential (up to $20,000 incentive). Examples include Ohio: $55,400-$75,400, California: $67,200-$89,500.
