Job summary

Northeast College of Health Sciences is seeking an Academic Coach and Tutoring Coordinator to support the Center for Student Support, coordinating tutoring services for enrolled students and providing tutoring for General Education courses.

The role requires strong time management and interpersonal skills, with potential evening and weekend hours. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, generous PTO, and other wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or higher.
• Two years’ experience as a student tutor or teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the coordination of tutoring services for all programs.
• Supports WCOnline setup, usage, and generates reports as needed.
• Collaborates with stakeholders on tutoring needs and service delivery.
• Mentors and trains tutors; assists tutors with challenges.
• Supports exam proctoring and general advising where needed.
• Maintains records of student contact and reports.
