Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Reading, Mathematics, Counseling, Psychology or Education.
• Two years of related higher education experience in Counseling, Psychology or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Master’s Degree in Student Affairs or Higher Education (desired).

Responsibilities

• Provides one-on-one coaching related to academic goals.
• Collaborates with advisors, instructors and coordinators to address student issues.
• Tracks student progress through communication and analytics to ensure attendance and progress.
• Assists students in addressing problems and refers to campus resources.
• Manages early intervention, implementation and follow-up for Early Alert.
• Helps students set goals for engagement and academic progress.
• Designs transition and retention programming to promote student success.
• Performs other related responsibilities as required.
