The University of Southern California seeks an Academic Records & Registration Coordinator to assist the Veterans Affairs unit. You will serve as the point of contact for veterans and dependents, providing information, referrals, and guidance on VA education benefit policies and degree requirements.
Responsibilities include updating student records, preparing credit summaries for USC and other institutions, and generating reports.
The Office of Academic Records and Registrar is seeking an Academic Records & Registration Coordinator to assist in the USC Veterans Affairs unit. This role serves as a point of contact to veterans and dependents; provides information, referrals and guidance to prospective and enrolled graduate or undergraduate students and academic units regarding VA education benefit policies and procedures, curricula, university policies and procedures and transfer work related to degree requirements for graduation. In addition, this position maintains accurate degree progress summaries for graduate or undergraduate students. Prepares credit summaries for work taken at USC and other domestic institutions. The Academic Records & Registration Coordinator provides technical information to students relating to the application of VA education benefits, transfer credit and the completion of degree requirements. Updates student record computer system and generates requested documents or reports. Verifies student information as requested. Additional duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Additionally, this role, keeps VA informed of the enrollment status and tuition/fee charges of Veterans and other eligible persons in accordance with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs SCO Handbook. Utilizes basic forms to keep VA informed, such as:

The hourly range for this position is $24.00 - $26.33.
