Job summary

KIPP Public Schools is seeking an Academics Special Projects Manager to lead project management, operations, and procurement for the Academic Team across KPPS. You will organize professional development, planning, budgeting, and contract processes to support school-level operations and student outcomes.

The role requires 2+ years assisting under-resourced urban communities and experience in curriculum/PD, with strong systems and relational skills in a collaborative, equity-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years serving under-resourced children and families in urban settings.
• 1+ years in a central or district office focusing on curriculum, assessment, or professional development.
• Complete all required criminal and child abuse background checks: PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, Cogent Federal Fingerprinting.
• Commitment to anti-racism, inclusion, and eradication of anti-Blackness.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of academic projects including professional development and annual planning.
• Archive learning materials and maintain organized, accessible documents and data.
• Coordinate procurement, budgeting, and compliance reporting for the Academic Team.
• Lead logistics for in-person and virtual professional development sessions across KPPS.
• Track vendor contracts and manage communications among academic teams and regional office.
