Job summary

KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools is seeking an Academics Special Projects Manager to lead professional development, annual planning, and academic operations. Reporting to the Managing Director of Teaching & Learning, you will manage a portfolio of projects, organize materials, and coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual sessions across KPPS.

You will build systems, manage budget and procurement tasks, support compliance reporting, and help ensure high-quality learning experiences for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years serving under-resourced children in urban settings.
• Experience in curriculum, assessment, professional development or similar area preferred.
• Background checks: PA State Police, PA Child Abuse, Cogent Fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Archive and organize learning materials and internal team documents.
• Publish annual team booklists and curricular materials.
• Assist with data management and reporting for assessments.
• Coordinate professional development sessions (in-person and virtual).
• Monitor compliance and budgeting processes for academic team.
