Job summary

Liberty University is seeking an Academic Progress Analyst to support the Registrar’s Office by assisting students, faculty, and staff with registration and policy guidance.

The role handles registration and withdrawal processing, inquiries, and outreach, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and federal regulations; some events outside hours.

Strong communication, analytical reasoning, and computer skills are essential; hybrid work arrangement with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and at least 1 year Registrar or related experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate academic processes and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete registration and drop requests from students and departments via direct interactions, email, phone, and online forms.
• Process unofficial and official withdrawals and validate FN grades as needed.
• Advise students, staff and faculty on institutional policies and federal regulations related to attendance and academic activity.
• Assist students with Registrar inquiries in person at the Student Service Center.
• Complete assessment registration and reset requests received through the assessment inbox.
• Evaluate and process late registration, independent study, audit registration, and section switches.
• Identify students for non-attendance and drop those not engaged in courses.
• Support professors with assigning/extending Incomplete extensions.
• Occasionally assist with events outside normal business hours; other tasks as assigned.
