• Experience in college/university setting preferred.

• Ability to conduct virtual sessions using Zoom and educational apps.
• Willingness to work evenings or weekends for events.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in diverse environments with sociocultural competence.
• Leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of GED, Common Core, college placement exams.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a caseload of active and alumni participants; counseling and career exploration support.
• Facilitates workshops to educate and guide participants toward self-worth and independence.
• Prepares educational plans including assessment and employment preparation.
• Coordinates attendance and progress; analyzes data and prepares reports.
• Assists with outreach and recruitment activities and events.
• Screens applicants for eligibility and conducts orientations.
• Connects participants to educational and vocational opportunities.
• Organizes field trips, events, job fairs, and graduation ceremonies.
• Performs related duties; essential on-campus presence.
