Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks an Academic Services Professional to support Rural Program and FMMD courses in a hybrid role. You will manage student rosters, update Canvas/Oasis catalogs, coordinate classrooms, and assist with budgets and events within the Family Medicine department.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and strong organizational skills, with a schedule that blends on-campus and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution; substitution allowed for education and experience.
• For intermediate level: 1 year of professional-level experience required; both levels may substitute education with related experience per policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Rural Program 1st year elective including roster management, schedules, learning objectives, classroom reservations, and guest speakers.
• Provide admin support for Rural Program events and for faculty/students (travel, reimbursements).
• Purchase educational supplies, manage food orders, reconcile expenses, and handle inventory.
• Coordinate FMMD courses, enroll students, update Canvas/Oasis catalogs, reserve rooms, arrange supplies, and maintain paperwork.
• Maintain database of students interested in family medicine and alumni contacts; support CQI processes with the Director.
• Attend Alpine coordinator and Post-Clerkship meetings; liaise with SOM for FMMD courses; support FMIG activities.
• Monitor expenditures and assist leadership in budget awareness for FMIG and departmental activities.
