The phase manager position involves serving as a key contact and resource for phase and course directors, providing essential administrative and logistical support, and facilitating effective communication among faculty, staff, and students. The manager will oversee the creation of yearly academic calendars, coordinate room scheduling, and manage exam administration and longitudinal courses. Responsibilities also include some supervisory obligations, organizing curriculum subcommittee meetings, maintaining curriculum maps, and supporting continuous program improvement and supporting the development of parallel programs at branch campuses. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation and continuous enhancement of the SFESOM MD Program.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.

Preferences
An incumbent who demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstration should be rendered with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products, database management, spreadsheets and document storage, and retrieval systems.
