The UNCG Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees, with the Master’s program accredited by the CAA of ASHA. The department is committed to providing high-quality clinical, research, and academic training in communication and swallowing disorders, fostering a compassionate and professional community.

Position Summary

The role involves providing clinical supervision of graduate students, delivering services at the UNCG Speech and Hearing Center, engaging in clinical instruction, and teaching coursework on clinical strategies. Additional duties include departmental, college, and university service as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
  • At least 2 years of supervising graduate students or clinical fellows
  • Over 5 years of clinical experience with diverse patient populations
  • ASHA CCC certification
  • Eligibility for North Carolina Licensure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and multilingual clients
  • Over 5 years supervising graduate students or clinical staff
