The UNCG Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) is one of ten departments and programs in the School of Health and Human Sciences (HHS). The UNCG CSD Department offers Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The UNCG CSD Master's (MA) program in Speech-Language Pathology is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of ASHA and was recognized by Best Value School as being the number two Masters in Speech Pathology in 2021. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is committed to providing the next generation of clinicians with the highest quality academic, research, and clinical training in the assessment/treatment and prevention of communication and swallowing disorders.
