Job summary

Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) is seeking an Assistant Academic Support Officer (S&T) to support daily operations of the School of Science and Technology. The role includes handling programmes, quality assurance, and research activities, with a focus on efficient office administration and student service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have HKDSE Level 2 in English, Chinese and Mathematics, strong English and Chinese communication, good computer skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• At least 5 subjects with HKDSE Level 2, including English, Chinese and Mathematics.
• Experience in general administration / supporting services is preferable.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (incl. Putonghua).
• Good computer skills.
• Self-motivated, fast learner and able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support for daily operations of the School of Science & Technology.
• Maintain files and records.
• Handle human resources matters (e.g., staff appointments).
• Provide frontline student services; respond to enquiries and liaise with internal/external parties.
