Banner University Medical Group in Tucson seeks a Neurosurgeon to join its growing academic program at Banner University Medical Center Tucson. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general neurosurgical care and contribute to resident and medical student education in a collaborative academic setting.

The role balances outpatient clinic and operative work, with a schedule featuring clinic and OR days, plus opportunities for research and clinical trials within a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery residency program.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and academic medicine.
• Interest in working collaboratively within a growing multidisciplinary program.
• New graduates and graduating fellows are encouraged to apply.
• Experienced neurosurgeons are also welcome.
• An academic appointment will accompany the position; prior academic or leadership experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor neurosurgery residents, fellows, and medical students across clinical and academic settings.
• Provide comprehensive general neurosurgical care with clinical and academic duties.
• Participate in clinical trials, research, and other academic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Neurology, Anesthesiology/Perioperative Services, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a balanced schedule with outpatient clinic and operative care; call responsibilities as described.
