Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Tucson is seeking a Neurosurgeon to join our academic program at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. The role combines general neurosurgical care with teaching residents, fellows, and medical students in a collaborative academic setting.

The successful candidate will participate in an 10% academic time, contribute to clinical research, and work with an established neurosurgery team.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree required.
Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery residency program.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive general neurosurgical care.
Educate residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and academic settings.
Balance outpatient clinic with operative care (approx. 2 clinic days and 2 OR days per week).
Teach and mentor trainees within a collaborative academic environment.
Engage in clinical trials, research, and other academic initiatives.
