Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Tucson seeks a Neurosurgeon to join its growing academic program at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general neurosurgical care and participate in education of residents, fellows, and medical students in a collaborative academic environment.

The practice blends outpatient clinic and operative care, with an average schedule of two clinic days and two OR days per week.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery residency program.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona.
• An academic appointment accompanies the position; prior academic or leadership experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general neurosurgical care.
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and academic settings.
• Balance outpatient clinic and operative care with approximately two clinic days and two OR days per week.
• Contribute to academic initiatives, clinical trials, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
