Banner University Medical Group in Tucson seeks a Neurosurgeon to join our expanding academic program. The successful candidate will provide general neurosurgical care while educating residents, fellows, and medical students in a collaborative environment.

The practice blends outpatient clinics with operative care and offers an academic appointment through the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. Join a growing team dedicated to teaching and research in Southern Arizona.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited Neurosurgery residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona
• Commitment to patient care, education and academic medicine
• Interest in multidisciplinary collaboration; new grads and experienced neurosurgeons welcome

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general neurosurgical care in an academic setting
• Educate residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and academic settings
• Balance outpatient clinic and operative responsibilities with roughly 2 clinic days and 2 OR days per week
• Participate in clinical trials, research, and academic initiatives
• Collaborate across Neurology, Anesthesiology and perioperative services
