Albany Med Health System seeks a full-time academic fellowship-trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The appointment includes opportunities through Albany Medical College and a strong research and teaching environment.

Required qualifications include an MD/DO, completion of an approved Plastic Surgery residency, board eligibility/certification, and NY licensure or eligibility. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board eligibility or board certification in Plastic Surgery.
• New York licenses and DEA certification required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• On-call responsibilities as needed.
