Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art operating facilities, participate in a plastic surgery residency program, and contribute to teaching and research with a competitive salary and benefits.

The position requires an MD/DO, completion of an approved Plastic Surgery residency, board eligibility/certification, NYS licensure, and DEA

Qualifications

• MD or DO medical degree and NY licensure or ability to obtain.
• Completion of an approved Plastic Surgery Residency Program.
• Board eligible or certified in Plastic Surgery; DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call.
