Job summary

Albany Medical Center invites a fellowship-trained microsurgeon to join the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in a full-time academic position. The role offers access to teaching within a plastic surgery residency program and involvement in research and clinical care in a leading center in New York.

The candidate should have completed plastic surgery residency, be board eligible/certified, possess NY licensure (or ability to obtain it), and hold/obtain DEA certification.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and licensed to practice medicine in New York.
• Completed Plastic Surgery residency and board eligibility/certification.
• Current or obtainable NY medical license; DEA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery and oncoplastic reconstruction.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction and on-call duties.
