Job summary

University of Illinois Springfield is seeking a Program Coordinator for Academic Governance and Institutional Effectiveness to oversee university-wide governance processes, ensure compliance with governing bodies, and advise senior leadership on academic actions. This on-campus role supports curriculum, catalog, and accreditation activities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, at least one year of related experience, and strong communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
One year of education, training, or work experience in the area; master’s may substitute for one year.
Additional education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the university-wide review and approval portfolio for new and revised academic programs, courses, units, and actions.
Advise faculty, program directors, chairs, deans, governance bodies on design and timelines.
Administer the UIS academic codebook, records, and catalog implementation.
Prepare materials for Board of Trustees and external entities; track approvals.
