Albany Medical College’s Division of Endocrinology is recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to contribute to clinical care and education of students, residents, and fellows.

The role includes bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences, exposure to a wide range of endocrinopathies, collaboration with a strong diabetes education team, thyroid ultrasound/FNA, and opportunities to teach in focused endocrine areas.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical care as part of an Academic Endocrinologist role.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Collaborate with a diabetes education team and utilize ultrasound/FNA for thyroid procedures.
• Engage in areas of endocrinology such as thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine if interested.
