Job summary

The Division of Endocrinology at Albany Medical College is recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. You will be active in clinical care and educate students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities include leading bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences, working with a diabetes education team, using thyroid ultrasound and FNA capabilities, and teaching across the education spectrum.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Exposure to a wide variety of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center.
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team, including CDCES.
• Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Opportunity to work in specific areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine).
