Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The role combines clinical care with medical education for students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities include participating in multidisciplinary conferences, exposure to diverse endocrinopathies, and collaboration with a robust diabetes education team. Ultrasound/FNA services are available, with emphasis on a collegial, research-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Expose patients to a wide variety of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center.
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team, including CDCES.
• Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research.
