Job summary

The Division of Endocrinology at Albany Medical College is actively recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to deliver clinical care and educate students, residents and fellows.

The role features participation in multidisciplinary conferences, use of an ultrasonography suite for thyroid imaging, collaboration with diabetes education specialists, and opportunities to focus on thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, or transgender endocrinology areas.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Team-oriented, multidisciplinary work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical endocrine care and education to students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Utilize ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team.
