Job summary

Albany Medical College is recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to deliver clinical care and educate students, residents and fellows.

The division offers bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences, exposure to a broad range of endocrinopathies, and opportunities to teach in thyroid, pituitary, diabetes and transgender medicine within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and education to students, residents and fellows.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team and utilize ultrasound/FNAs as needed.
