Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Endocrinology invites an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to blend clinical care with education of students, residents and fellows.

The role features participation in multidisciplinary conferences, access to an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs, and opportunities to focus on thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, and transgender medicine in a collaborative, research‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Team‑oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Exposure to a wide range of endocrinopathies at a tertiary referral center.
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team (CDCES).
• Utilize ultrasound suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Contribute to patient care and research in a collegial environment.
• Work in specific endocrinology areas (thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine) if interested.
