Job summary

The Division of Endocrinology at Albany Medical College is recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The role includes clinical care and education of students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities include participating in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences, exposure to diverse endocrinopathies, collaboration with a diabetes education team, and teaching across training levels, with opportunities in thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, and transgender

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology
• Strong commitment to education and teaching
• Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology)
• Exposure to a wide variety of endocrinopathies at a tertiary referral center
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team (CDCES)
• Utilize an ultrasound suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows
• Opportunities to work in specific areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine) if interested
