Job summary

Albany Medical College Division of Endocrinology seeks an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to provide clinical care and education to students, residents and fellows.

The role offers opportunities in thyroid, pituitary, diabetes care and transgender endocrinology within a multidisciplinary environment; ultrasound/FNA experience is valued and teaching is a core component.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with Endocrinology board certification or eligibility.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Exposure to a wide variety of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center.
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team including CDCES.
• Utilize ultrasound for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
