Job summary

The Division of Endocrinology at Albany Medical College is recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. You will be active in clinical care and provide education to students, residents and fellows.

This role offers opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborate with a strong diabetes education team, with exposure to a wide range of endocrinopathies in a tertiary referral center.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Provide clinical care across endocrine disorders at a tertiary referral center.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Collaborate with a diabetes education team including CDCES.
• Opportunity to focus on areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine).
